i'm quickly running out of time before the craft sale on the 6th, and should be spending every waking moment at my machine, but alas, i suck at life.

b-cards and re-tail

last sunday, i placed an order with overnightprints for some business cards that i can use for the regular, pretentious, cocky means of handing out to people, but it doubles as a backing to attach my pins, and make them look somewhat legit.

they arrived at my doorstep today, and delivered by one smoking hot ups guy, no less... but i digress..
they look marvelous, and vicki is pleased.



and so, the dual purpose of b-card/pinback works wonders, and i look somewhat like a mature, reasonable "artist"



as you may know, i have a craft sale coming up on december 6th in missisauga, so horray!

and on top of that, the wonderful people at the rage have been so kind as to take some of my hideous items and sell them in their kensington market shop. i'll be dropping by on thursday to hand over my children, (pins, tote bags, uglyfaced cubes) and hope for the best, so you should perhaps take a gander if you're in the neighbourhood.

well, i signed up for a christmas craft show on Dec.6th at thomas street middle school in missisauga. the sweet-as-pie grade 8 teacher who arranged it found me on etsy and asked if i would be interested in joining, in which i responded HECK YES.
so here's one of the many items i am going to be selling:


i figured since it was a christmas sale, it would be in my best interests to make some christmas items. hence, the plush tree ornaments that i whipped up tonight, amongst other things (holy productive moly)

i will also be making holiday cards, more pins, more plush, more purses, some prints, some original artwork, and more (i hope).
i will post more progress soon.

Hi,

I found your artwork on illustration mundo, and really liked your sketch work. The budget is 50 dollars for the rights to use the work in the iphone project.

The applicatiton is an interactive art gallery on the iphone. Artists submit a single character design that is divided into 3 regions. Users then take artists designs and mash them up to create new creatures. It's a fun casual experience that promotes the artists at the same time.

We have a template and can work with existing designs.
