i've been farting around with some 3" pillar candle wraparound labels for my stepmom's new beeswax candle business. pretty fun!!

also, broken pencil magazine is awesome. why is it awesome? like you even have to ask, JEEZ...
they just released their 50th edition of the magazine, and it's pretty awesome. not only do i have an illustration in there, i got a little bio printed on the contributors page.

also, i am on hump day wednesday of the 2nd week at my new job as an in-house illustrator at hatley. it looks a little cheeseball, but there are so many bad puns and shitty dad jokes that it is a little slice of heaven for someone like me... and i get to draw stuff for hours on end and get paid for it. so who am I to complain about THAT. you tell me...

anyhow, i'm starting to adjust to the 9-5, so i'm getting a little work done. finally...

canzine this year was great! i got a sweet spot sammidged between britt and phil. i even had a little cameo on blogTO!

Canzine is a-comin...

just when i thought i got my life back after the opening of memories of enemies, the thought of canzine smacked me in the face and brought me back to the ol' worktrain brain...

THANK YOU to all of you who made it out to the opening of that big ol show last wednesday. i had such a great time! there was an amazing turnout, fancy schmancy hors d'oeurves, super duper artwork, and a high five here and there. i am a big dumb face and didn't take any photos of the party, nor do i have images of 6/7 paintings i have up in the show, but i will get those together and post them in a few weeks when i have my art back... SO THERE.

i am working on a short little sequel to the ted bear story... and i'll give you a sneak peek, since i'm such a nice guy...
