i wish i was joking.

also, i think i paint a mighty fine sea.
sometimes, i surprise myself when pulling something out of my ass in 5 minutes.

man dude vicki, this is awesome! it is hideous and beautiful! i'm particularly fond of the blue reflected light on all the legs, and zach really likes the knobby knees on the most foreground old man. and i actually didn't notice it until i looked at it again, but the not painted at all bathing suits are really effective. are you doing a 3rd piece or just the 2?

(makes me really sad i couldn't do square foot. i was planning on doing 3 nice paintings on wood but since i'm in ottawa it would have been damn expensive to ship em back to TO.)

OMG! Those are so cool! I'm sure someone will buy the 2 of them together if they do. Actually, I'm sure you'll sell them. There'll be nothing like this at Square Foot!

I didn't see creepy people and fat people on the Italian beaches. I guess Lido's (Venice) different than wherever you went.
